Craig Lohr is a second-generation contractor with over 30 years of experience in construction and project execution. He began his career with Turner Construction Company in Boston as a field engineer before founding his own independent construction company.

Craig remains highly hands-on and actively involved on-site, overseeing construction quality and ensuring that every detail meets the standards expected for Animas Cliffs Townhomes. His experience and daily presence on the project reinforce the commitment to craftsmanship and long-term durability that defines the development.

Developer

Nicholas Lohr is a third-generation real estate professional with more than a decade of experience in residential development, construction, and property ownership across select Western markets. Having worked in construction since his teenage years, Nicholas brings a rare blend of hands-on building knowledge and refined development expertise to every project he undertakes.

His portfolio includes the successful completion of ground-up townhome community construction in Sacramento, as well as the ongoing ownership and operation of multifamily and residential properties in Sacramento, Denver, and Durango. This multi-market experience informs a disciplined, design-forward approach to development—one that prioritizes architectural integrity, livability, and enduring value.

Animas Cliffs Townhomes represents the culmination of that philosophy. Conceived as a limited collection of eight residences, the project was intentionally designed to elevate the standard of new construction in Durango. Every detail—from spatial planning and material selections to energy-efficient building systems and oversized garages tailored to the Durango lifestyle—was selected with longevity, performance, and refinement in mind.

Nicholas remains personally involved throughout the development process, ensuring each home reflects a level of care and craftsmanship typically absent from larger, volume-driven projects. His work is guided by the belief that exceptional homes are not simply built—they are curated.

Ryan Heaney is a seasoned builder with over 20 years of experience in construction throughout La Plata County. With roots in the industry through his family’s manufacturing business and a hands-on career that began in 2004, Ryan founded Hawk Construction to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and dependable project execution. As a builder and consultant on Animas Cliffs Townhomes, Ryan brings deep local knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to building durable, thoughtfully designed homes.

As the dedicated sales professional for Animas Cliffs Townhomes, Kim Rodgers brings two decades of real estate expertise and a specialized background in new construction dating back to 2005. Since relocating to Durango in 2015, Kim has combined her deep local knowledge with a commitment to making her clients’ mountain living dreams a reality.
